Coffee Cake Catastrophe and War Games

Ok, forgot to write yesterday, so here’s the Reader’s Digest version…

Breakfast at Sourdough Bakery (again), a walk in the park where I decided to try disc golf, chili for dinner (delicious), trip to the hot tub, and then the great coffee cake fail of 2022.

The chili turned out amazing, and I even meal prepped these cute little leftover bundles with cornbread on top. The coffee cake was 180° in the other direction. Somehow in the course of one recipe I managed to break the eggs, forget the milk, and then after starting over, use baking soda instead of baking powder. See below… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also, Ricky brought over a fun new board game. Santorini is a strategy game that’s easy to learn and a ton of fun to play!
