Avocado Tails
Nothing exciting to report today. I started work early, and I’ll be working late into the night. I’m just taking a quick break to write this and eat dinner. I can’t complain much. I love all the people I work with and for every day like today that’s packed with way too much to get done, there’s at least one day that’s pretty laid back.
I started trying to grow an avocado tree from a pit a couple weeks ago. Recently, I noticed he’s got a little tail. Looking forward to the day he starts to sprout his leaves. And yeah, I know. You need two very specific types of tree next to each other to get fruit. I just think they make a nice house plant. 🤷🏻♂️
Hopefully, one day he’ll look something like this…
Daily Gratitude
Today, I'm grateful for:
my espresso machine. This probably seems like a small thing, but waking up every morning knowing I'm 20' away from an amazing Americano is definitely something I miss when I'm not home.
My favorite part of today was:
taking a walk on my break and ordering pizza for dinner. Bellagio's... yum!
